When house music first hit the European mainland in 1987 Parker Jones was captivated immediately and started his first recordlabel not much later, unfortunately this label died a premature death. But the love for real House music and Detroit techno survived. He started dj-ing, organizing parties and writing about it for several magazines. In 1995 Parker Jones joined the largest European dance recordcompany, where he compiled and mixed over 40 house and techno cd's. As A & R manager he produced, made remixes and worked with many different artist, such as; Roy Davis jr., Speedy J, Herbert, Laidback Luke, Phuture, Orlando Voorn, Peven Everett, Steve Stoll, Ganstarr's Guru, Seymour Bits (a.k.a. Bastian, Gifted, Fatima Yamaha), Mike Dearborn and Recloose to name but a few.
By the turn of the century Parker Jones felt the need to go his own way again and focus on his own production work and especially his career as a dj. Since then he has played his eclectic, deep, yet stompin' house and electrofunk sounds for many people all over Europe and beyond, from Amsterdam to Sofia and from Bangkok to Stockholm, alongside such djs as Luke Solomon, Brett Johnson and Melon. Parker Jones is a regular guest at Paradiso, Panama, Stalker and Integrate in the Netherlands, but he also played at the infamous Lowlands Festival, Dance Valley, Mysteryland, the Music Festival of Cannes in France and other festivals and parties in Europe.
In 2005 Parker Jones and Seymour Bits joined forces and founded Magnetron Music, which specializes in electro, techno, funk, pop and house with an electronic feel.
